Hadn’t been to the beach all summer. I mentioned that to Margie, and we decided it would be great to go to York Beach in Maine for Labor Day. It was a beautiful beach day… 90+ degrees, clear, not a cloud in the sky. The only thing that could have made it perfect was if the water was warmer. It felt like a balmy 58 degrees… COOOOLLLLDDDDD! But, I knew I had to actually get fully submerged and swim a little, if for nothing other than to say I did it. Proof is below. I did it. 😀

Afterwards, we went over to Nubble Lighthouse to take in the view. Spectacular!

And what beach trip would be complete without salt water taffy?!? Awesome day with a really good friend, can’t wait to do it again!
