This year has been all about doing the things I want to try or haven’t had a chance to do.

I decided to spend Independence Day in Boston. Went on the ‘Pirates and Patriots’ Freedom Trail tour. Then went to Allston-Brighton and picked up a rented kayak. Picnicked on the banks of the Esplanade with some friends, then paddled down the 3 miles down the Charles River to the Mass. Ave. bridge where we watched the fireworks display from the water. It was spectacular, and I would do it all again; even despite the wicked sore arms and body! Highly recommend it.
