Nashoba Winery co-hosted their fourth annual “Taste of the Maze” event with Schartner Farms… wine tasting in a corn maze. Sounds awesome, right?
$15 got you entry into the maze, four 1 ounce wine tastings at stations within the maze to try Nashoba’s wines, a commemorative wine glass, and three 1 ounce tastings at the winery as well.
While I wish I could say the wine was excellent, I was sadly disappointed. But, as per usual, it was a fun time hanging with the group. Lots of frivolity, banter, and general goofiness.
At the winery, there was also a band (Good Will and Them Apples) that played cover songs, mostly 70’s and 80’s style funk and R&B (think Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind, & Fire), and their repertoire is Top 40 of the past eight decades. They were very good, and come to find out they are also Berklee students! Love seeing peeps from my Alma Mater!
After the winery, a bunch of us grabbed food at a local restaurant, and then I decided to get some more picture taking in at a local pond. This was my chance to practice what I had learned the day before, and I was very happy with the results. The sunset was gorgeous, and it made the leaves glow!
