Tower Hill Botanic Garden teamed up with the Highland Street Foundation for their annual Free Fun Fridays initiative. The statewide program – which Tower Hill hosted on Friday, July 28, offered visitors no cost admission to many of the most treasured cultural institutions in Massachusetts.
Tower Hill, set on 132 acres of formal gardens and nature trails, was among the 80+ participating organizations. There was something for the whole family at Tower Hill, including scavenger hunts, blooming flowers, the wildlife pond, easy hikes, children’s crafts, and more.
I decided to just explore the gardens, wandering the grounds and taking pictures at will. Amongst all the flowers, there are many architectural sculptures to delight the eye, as well as some breath taking views.
